Bean

Bean is a shy little guy not yet 1 year old he has remarkable hearing, very healthy and he is a squeaky talker. His meow is a little timid; almost as if he is afraid to say anything too loudly. Perhaps he only wants to whisper right now? He is afraid of his own shadow and loud noises terrify him but he is gaining confidence daily.

We purchased a kitty gym and climbing tree for him and he was so excited he slept on the second level for hours, so he has claimed it for the kitty kingdom of bean. His favorite cat napping venue is the wooden rocker. He has a very gentle and loving personality and he will come and sit in my lap and look at magazines and likes watching football and NASCAR . Bean is a joy and pleasure to have and we love him more everyday.

Stinky

This is Stinky, in the King Tut costume I bought for the cats, which he refused to take off. As you can see, he agrees with the ancient Egyptian thought that cats are gods.

Stinky was rescued in 2001. He is our resident mouse-catcher and will also catch larger critters, such as shrews, snakes and once, a woodpecker that was somewhat larger than him. Of course he leaves them as presents.

Although he’s quite the predator outdoors, Stinky is very loving, both to the other cats, and to his owner. He’s definitely the most friendly of the bunch.
