From the very beginning we knew Bucky was a special little guy. He was abandoned at four weeks behind a PetCo and brought into our clinic by a caring employee.

After surviving an endoscopy and pneumonia he came home with me and grew like an adorable weed in spite of developing asthma at four months old and being stuffed into little sweaters for photos with Santa.

One of his favorite pastimes was playing fetch with a little green foam soccer ball – if you wouldn’t throw it for him, he’d crawl up on top of the recliner and throw it for himself. This photo is of him having a rest after a long, hard day’s lounging.

He was diagnosed with FIP when he was almost a year old and passed away last summer but no one who ever met him will ever forget him. :D
