You could be right yet there's an easier way to do it. I'll post it for you if I find it.

Anyone got any thoughts on Cat Lax. My 12 yr old has always had very hard stools. This works but not sure how often I should use it.

Thanks so much for the feedback on cat grass. Another query, my 12 yr old has very hard stools. It was suggested to put on Cat Lax. Have tried this intermittently. Seems ok. Is it good to do regularly?

Mary,

It is your choice how to serve greeneries to your cat! I have handed over the container to my cat and have some that will graze on it while other grab a few pieces and run dragging the container with them and spilling the dirt all over! Some cats want to chew it off from the root system while upright and others will appreciate you cutting off a few strands and placing them on the floor or in a dish. Mixing in food is a great thought as well, although most cats will just eat them without having to be tricked into it. Just see what your individual cat likes and go from there! :)

My cat does occassionally eat grass outside. I have grown some specific cat grass and not sure how to give it to him. Do I let him nibble from the small container it is grown in or cut it. Do I mix it with food or what. Appreciate some feedback. Many thanks - cat lover !

I had a cat for fourteen years that had to be put down last November. I make many dishes with cilantro. I think it could also be related to the mint family as catnip is, because if I accidently dropped some on the floor, she would react the same way as if it were catnip! Catnip tea is also good for humans because it is a mild narcotic, so proceed with caution. As far as poisonous plants, I know one is english ivy.

Hi Nikki! That was so interesting! I never heard of Cat grass, nor why they like reg. grass.Makes sense, as I noticed she appeared to be sl. constipated as I cleaned her litter box. She's also been trying to get to the grass when I let her sit with me on the porch. I will def. look into that as she also loves my house plants grr! lol At one time, I had 4 rescues & they all reacted differently to catnip. It was fun to watch them! Thanks for the info!
