Of course, if he doesn't finish it, the others will, and they don't need the extra calories! I leave a bowl with dry for him all the time and he gets some wet food whenever he wants it, which is all the time. I have spoiled him rotten. I do buy the 'good' canned food. At 13, he is still going strong, jumping and running around like a mad cat :) My cat eats both dry and wet.
