Cricket
Cricket and her 2 brothers were dropped off at the vet I worked at when they were 3 days old, so my coworkers and I took turns each night bottle-feeding them. My older cat Merlin was a very good “daddy” and, since I was looking for a playmate for him, I decided to keep one of the babies. One of the boys didn’t survive long enough, and the other one had a serious alpha-male issue with Merlin, so I kept the girl.
She’s very much a mommy’s girl who loves to cuddle and lick my hand and hates when I’m not at home. Her favorite non-cuddle pastime is to toss small hair clips around the bathtub (making as much noise as possible) or take an afternoon nap in the garden.

Runner-Ups

Gracie Anne
This is Gracie Anne! She was adopted from an Oklahoma farm. Gracie Anne is a sweet and adorable calico kitty that just isn’t big enough yet to reach the kitty food!
- Ashleigh A. from Oklahoma USA

Shaka
Shaka is a 12-1/2 year old Lilac Point Snowshoe Siamese. He’s from a litter of 9 and his papa was almost pure white! His name came from his VERY long pedigree although he’s neutered so he won’t pass it on. He’s a wonderful hunter and brings mousies to mom from time to time – and even an occasional fruit bat!
- (Ms) Collin McKenny from Fiji Islands

Fiero and Ashton
Fiero is a Siamese who’s always looking out for his brothers. Ashton is a Sphynx who’s always looking for a good snuggle from one of his furrier brothers.
As Fiero says “brothers share everything, even fur.”
