Jaspurr is our mishevious boy!  We adopted him from the great Nine Lives Foundation.  Jaspurr is loving & sweet, but gets into things he shouldn’t. He ended with an intestinal blockage from crawling under my recliner and eating the cotton stuffing – we had no idea! In addition to that, plus a box of kleenex and a bounce sheet, he had to have surgery. He is doing fine now, but still just as active and naughty. He is a mama’s boy and such a cuddler!

Thank you for choosing my Jaspurr! I would love to see a slight change in your posting of the Daily Cat winner. I would really like to read about the runner-ups – see what stories their owners submitted about them. I hope you'll consider adding that!

Jaspurr is a pretty kitty : ). I totally agree with your suggestion. I decided not to list runner-up info out of respect for the winner, but I am open to suggestions – it is everyone's kitty home, not just mine!

From now on I'll list more info about the runner ups : ). Do you have any other recomendations about the Daily Cat, operations, or the site as a whole? Thanks again!

      Regards,
      John

The only suggestion I have it maybe a section of links that will show people where in their area is a no-kill cat rescue where they can find cats to love. If I ever move to a new state, I'd love to know where the nearest reputable cat rescue is so I can support them, maybe volunteer, and find a new cat if I'm looking for one.

If you broke it down on two lists, by state for those that want to find one near them, and another by name so you can quickly find one you've heard of. Maybe link to their website, especially the ones that have blogs. If you haven't had time to go back and read some the postings on the Nine Lives blogsite, you might enjoy it. Sometimes happy, sometimes sad, sometimes moving… it never disappoints.

But there are many many great rescues that need support by donations, volunteering, and adoption. It would be lovely to see EverCats give them a voice. And maybe a comment section so people can post about their positive experiences with the specific shelter, even post a photo of the cats they adopted there.

I don't know if this is something you can do… but I thought I'd throw it out there!
