Biggie

Biggie was the featured pet at the Allegany County SPCA the week I went to get a new friend after my last cat had died from acute kidney failure. I was looking in the cages – when out of nowhere this beautiful kitty reached his paw out and grabbed me and pulled me to his cage.

Biggie came home with me that day and has stayed content since. He get’s along great with his ’sister’, our german shepherd mix dog, they play and often times he wins. He likes to sleep on my lap while I make the jewelry that is my living. He’s very affectionate and whenever someone new comes to the house he’s got to see if they’re cat people – if they are – he’s made them HIS for life.

He’s 15lbs and some will go WOW that’s heavy – but no he’s right on target for his body size according to the vet. He’s not fat he’s heavy. Here he is focused on pouncing on the dog. I love this shot!

Simon

Simon is a rescue kitty who was saved from being used as “bait” in a pitbull fighting ring when the dog fight was raided by law enforcement. I got him when he was 4 months old (this photo was taken about a month after he came home) and it took a lot of time for him to become calm and adjusted. He is now almost 2 years old, loves his “furry mice” and good food, lol! He is a wonderful cat and helps to make everyday a wonderful one.

this is egypt when he was around 4 weeks old….got him when he was 3 weeks old and nurtured him into a beautiful cat now he’s 4!love him!
