Percy

Percy was born in New Orleans! He was rescued from birth and a part of a program in Marin County that helps find kitties homes (The Pet Cottage in San Anselmo works w/ New Orleans, great people!). We are so blessed to have him in our lives. He loves to play on the deck in the rain and sun. A big hugger, he wakes his human up each day with purrs and hugs. When we brought him home, he said “wow, wow” the whole way! And, we say “wow, Percy, you rock! And, we love you so much!”

Purrcy

Purrcy is a gorgeous Red Abyssinian who is now obviously happy as a clam but certainly didn’t start out that way!  As the director of the largest purebred cat rescue in the midwest (come see us) .

Smokey

My Smokey is about 10 years old.  He was living in the barn in my house in Orange Country, NY when I moved in. After 3 years of non-communication between us, he appeared one winter day with an injured front paw.  As he limped his way into the little barn (he used to live in the big barn) I decided to start to feed him.

Henry The First

Henry The First

Our first British Blue.  Such a cute little man.  He would jump on your knee & hang on with his claws (owww) & would squeak when he jumped down.

We collected him from the breeder on 14th Feb, 1999.  He got ill within a couple of weeks & he ended up on a drip.  Henry died a month after we got him!  He died from toxaemia/septomcaemia.

We found out that the breeder had fed him & the kittens raw heart & meat.  He was such a special little man!  A few months later we got our lovely Henry & Harley.  Henry was called Harry at first, because we were still upset after Henry No1, but in the end we called him Henry as a tribute to out first little blue cat!
