Waffle
This is my kitty, Waffle although she sometimes goes by Little One since she is the little “sister” to my other cat, The Big One (full name: Biggs Darklighter…but that’s a different story). One day, I went to the local pet store to purchase food for my Big One, who was the Only One at the time, and they were having an adoption fair. The fair was packing up to leave and a little girl had a tiny kitten getting belly rubs in her lap. “This is the last little kitty left,” She said “I guess you’re coming back to the shelter with us.” Well, I wasn’t about to let that happen. I stuffed all my cash into the adoption bucket, scooped that Little kitty up and now the last kitty left brings a smile to everyone who sees her. Biggs was happy to have a playmate too. I can’t start my day without a little Waffle.
